Denny Stewart is a musician and songwriter. With his grandfather as his earliest musical inspiration, he grew up equally shaped by sports and music—playing trumpet and guitar, absorbing the classics, and playing in garage bands.
He later studied engineering and music at Penn State before earning a professional degree in architecture, an experience that expanded his relationship with music—its structure, balance, space, and meaning. With an honest voice and influences ranging from contemporary independent artists to classical composers, he pairs vintage musical language with a distinctive point of view.

Sweet Sad Song
‘Sweet Sad Song’ was written and inspired by the life of Denny’s Grandmother Joan who lived a bright, wonderful life and recently passed away.
Appalachian Song
‘Appalachian Song’ was written years ago after the passing of Denny’s Italian grandfather, an auto-body mechanic who spent the majority of his retirement riding his bike through trails of Pennsylvania. At the time, many of them weren’t trails yet.
Behind The Lines
‘Behind The Lines’ started as a collage that Denny made in architecture school. Years later and when writing the lyrics, he was reminded by the faces and places from the collage. They song expresses a concern for the crossroads of peace and conflict.
